Meet the Founder

Billie Jeanne Lowe, holds an LCSW with nearly 18 years of community social work experience, 6 years in psychotherapy, and 7 years in facilitation, she brings a deep commitment to supporting individuals, teams, and organizations in creating meaningful, sustainable change. EvaMac focuses on strengthening professional capacity, fostering reflective and trauma-informed practice, and building environments where staff and communities can thrive. Through workshops, coaching, and clinical supervision, EvaMac partners with clients to translate values into action and promote growth at every level of practice.

In 2024, after becoming an LCSW, Billie knew it was time to move into the next phase of her career. EvaMac was founded and named after Billie’s grandmother, Eva McLaurin Sitton. Eva was a woman of deep moral character, full of kindness and empathy for others. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and her favorite snack was a Coke float with some potato chips. She demonstrated what it meant to care for others, to speak up for what is right, to believe in magic, and to always find the good.

“Through lifes many transformations, I’ve become a better individual and also a better practitioner. My entire career is built on the understanding that it is my duty to give back, as I have always had the support I needed to grow and improve.”
