EvaMac focuses on strengthening professional capacity, fostering reflective and trauma-informed practice, and building environments where staff and communities can thrive.
The current areas of focus include: professional development within the human services field, providing clinical supervision to new and incoming social workers, and building a collective of youth staff to support a movement toward the de-colonization of the public school system/youth spaces in this country.

Transforming Trauma Conference - UK 2026
I was honored to attend my first, Transforming Trauma Conference, UK, hosted by Master Events, LTD as a volunteer member of the Healing Collective. This was a life changing experience and I continue to work on integrating my experience into my practice and personal life!
National Association of Social Workers Conference - D.C. - 2026
I was honored to share my poster, “An Examination of Intersectionality and Social Work as a Tool for the Decolonization of our School Systems.”
It’s always a wonderful experience, being surrounded by other social workers and this is only the beginning of what I plan to do with this preliminary research.
Services
Choose from various workshop topics, including, Crisis De-Escalation, Transformative Communication, Vicarious Trauma and more. These are meant to build skills and empower staff and organizations in their day-to-day. Workshops are offered in virtual and in-person formats. Each topic can be personalized to meet the needs of the agency or we can work together to develop a topic perfect for your team! Workshops start at $1000 for virtual and $2000 for in-person.
Both staff and clients experience moments of dysregulation. These services are designed to provide support on an individual or group basis for both staff and the clients the agency serves.
Sessions start at $175/hour for individuals and $300/hour for groups. Together, we will identify the sources of dysregulation, build capacity to tolerate discomfort, and develop practical tools to manage symptoms.
Workshops are designed for youth ages 13–24 and cover topics such as Mental Health 101, attachment styles, healthy relationships, and more.
As with staff development, each workshop can be personalized, or we can collaborate to create something tailored specifically to your group. Workshops start at $500 per hour.
Whether the need is with leadership, line staff, or a social worker seeking clinical supervision, these sessions are provided one-on-one. Each session is one hour and is rooted in the practice of reflective supervision. Sessions start at $175/hour.
About
I began my career in community development in 2008 and have since worked with diverse populations in Philadelphia, PA, New York City, and New Orleans. After earning my MSW in 2014, I committed fully to a career in social work, with a continued passion for youth development and education.
I began supervising social work interns in 2021 and LMSWs in 2024. I believe strong teams are built with intentionality, empathy, and accountability—an approach that makes it possible to deliver the quality services our communities deserve.
I’m here to help identify your areas for growth while providing a judgment-free space. All of my work is collaborative. Supporting people in reaching their full potential is what brings me joy and purpose.
Named after my Grandmother, Eva McLaurin Whetstone Sitton, the mission with EvaMac is meant to carry on her legacy of service and compassion.
